TSP Music Service presents it's first ever songwriting workshop:

 "Components of Songwriting"for beginners

Not quite ready to perform a song you've written at the local open mic? What? You've never written a song before, but would like to try?

This workshop is for the "closet" songwriter who is held back by his or her own "inner critic". Whether shy or just plain terrified, this workshop will provide safe haven and you'll be among like minded individuals that are trying to do the same. Surviving in the world of songwriting can be an intimidating thing, from performance to the recording world, we will look at every aspect in a kind and caring way!

This workshop will help fill in the gaps in your understanding of music theory as it applies to the singer/songwriter in you. We will also explore melodies and rhythms and how to you can become a better accompanist for your voice.
How do you write a song? Can I really write one? Do my songs make sense?

Whether beginner or someone thats been writing a while, Vito will shed more light on the music behind the lyric! Have no fear, the woodshed (safe haven) is here! Sharing a song or two is completely optional.

Cost of the workshop is $50.00, runs 3 hours (11am to 2pm). Refreshments included, but you may want to bring a bag lunch. There is limited seating so reserve your spot early by e mailing vito, vito880@mac.com or call 845-464-0110

Gardiner, NY

TSP Guitar Workshop Series presents:

Vito’s famous “Guitar For Lost Souls” workshop. This course is for the “lost souls” who have taken very few, or maybe no guitar lessons at all, or maybe deciding whether to take lessons or not. Here they can obtain “short-cuts” to help improve their skills on the instrument. Guitar for Lost Souls has been designed to leave no one behind. All questions about guitar will be answered slowly in a non-technical language we can all understand. Not only for beginners, “lost souls” is there to answer the questions that even veterans of the instrument are afraid to ask. The focus will be on the “de-mystification” of guitar! “Lost souls” will cover theory, chords, scales, strumming, finger style, licks, blues, and more importantly, the relationship between musical styles. Vito takes his twenty-five years of teaching experience and brings it all together in his unique way. So if you’re feeling inadequate on the guitar, or would like to accompany yourself with guitar, “Guitar for Lost Souls” is for you. All levels welcome.

Cost of the workshop is $50.00 per person, runs 3 hours (11am to 2pm). Refreshments included, but you may want to bring a bag lunch. There is limited seating so reserve your spot early by e mailing vito, vito880@mac.com
