NRBQ founder-frontman Terry Adams returns at 1:30pm PST (2:30pm GMT, 3:30pm CST, 4:30pm EST) with the lo-down on the arQive/Big Notes limited edition CD “NRBQ at the Ardmore music hall 2015” and Omnivore Recordings ”in * frequencies” CD (due Oct. 2nd), fifteen mostly never issued 1968 to 2018 rarities, a must-have for Q heads.

The 2:30pm PST (3:30pm GMT, 4:30pm CST, 5:30pm EST) spotlight shines brightly upon former NRBQ singer Frank Gadler and his six-years-in-the-making Awesome Mother Records CD “Cause Of You” backed by the Amrod Band, The Outta Town Horns and on selected tracks, former NRBQ drummer Tom Ardolino, guitarist Johnny Spampinato and bass guitarist Joey Spampinato. Songwriters include Chandler Travis and former NRBQ members Al Anderson and Steve Ferguson.

3:30pm PST (4:30pm GMT, 5:30pm CST, 6:30pm EST) Toronto, Ontario jazz vibraphonist, composer Dan McCarthy‘s new indie release “The Méjis EP” gathers friends and some of New York’s most adept, unique improvisers on six originals partially inspired by Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” series (Méjis is the fictional homeland of the hero, Roland the Gunslinger).
